A Musical Theatre School focusing on personal and artistic growth, passion and leadership opportunities!
SHOW TIME, GROW TIME!
There's A Production is excited to announce its latest initiative aimed at nurturing young talent and empowering the next generation of theatre enthusiasts! Artistic Director Theresa Noon-Hunter and Operations Director Kristen Henderson have collaborated to launch the 20 Performing Arts Academy in Brantford. This new Musical Theatre School provides a platform for young minds to embrace their individuality, creativity, and pursue their dreams. With each bringing over 20 years of expertise in their respective fields and 20 years of friendship, their partnership is perfectly suited. Their commitment to pushing boundaries and fostering confidence in young performers sets them apart. There's A Production and 20 Performing Arts Academy are dedicated to innovation, inclusivity, and the transformative power of the arts.
Students in grades 6-12 will have the opportunity to learn the art of musical theatre, participate in rehearsals, and perform in a full-scale musical production. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium.
