A Musical Theatre School focusing on personal and artistic growth, passion and leadership opportunities!

SHOW TIME, GROW TIME!

There's A Production is excited to announce its latest initiative aimed at nurturing young talent and empowering the next generation of theatre enthusiasts! Artistic Director Theresa Noon-Hunter and Operations Director Kristen Henderson have collaborated to launch the 20 Performing Arts Academy in Brantford. This new Musical Theatre School provides a platform for young minds to embrace their individuality, creativity, and pursue their dreams. With each bringing over 20 years of expertise in their respective fields and 20 years of friendship, their partnership is perfectly suited. Their commitment to pushing boundaries and fostering confidence in young performers sets them apart. There's A Production and 20 Performing Arts Academy are dedicated to innovation, inclusivity, and the transformative power of the arts.

Students in grades 6-12 will have the opportunity to learn the art of musical theatre, participate in rehearsals, and perform in a full-scale musical production. Through auditions, cast members will be selected for roles in each session's musical, culminating in a final performance at the end of the session.

$275.00 Per Session

Fee includes: rehearsal materials, participation in the musical and a performance t-shirt.

Why Choose 20 Performing Arts Academy?

From the moment I met Theresa, I felt welcomed. Theresa is an amazing director and confidence builder. Before I met her, I was shy and not as comfortable on stage. During rehearsals Theresa encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. She helped build my confidence and by showtime I was confident and ready. She makes you feel included, and she is always rooting for you. Theresa is supportive, she always goes to see the other shows I am in and talks to me after. She is also a kind and generous person. Thank you for going above and beyond Theresa!! For all of these reasons I would recommend Theresa Noon-Hunter and the 20 Performing Arts Academy!!

-Chase Kovacs

I have known Theresa Noon-Hunter for a long time and she has been an amazing teacher to me throughout my childhood. She has been a kind, uplifting, and supportive role model. I have learned many valuable lessons from her in performing, and she is great at finding ways to explain things that you are having trouble understanding when learning something new. She has always ensured a fun and judgment free learning environment for me. Also, when directing, Theresa manages to find everyone their “moment” to shine on stage. I can’t wait to continue to grow with Theresa in the future, and would recommend everyone to experience the joy she brings to the creative process by taking part in her shows. Thank you Theresa for always being there for me!!

-Kari Ostermeier

Do you have a child in grades 6-12 that is interested in the performing arts?? Look no further! My dear cousin Theresa Noon-Hunter is the brains, brawn and passion behind 20 Performing Arts . Take a look at her page, reach out to her, sign your child up for 12 weeks of classes with her!

Her performing arts resume is one to be rivalled! She is a York University graduate who starred in the Live travelling show of CSI which took her across North America. Her passion for the performing arts shines through in her everyday life and her favourite thing to do is pass that passion down to the next generation!

Don’t take my word for it….See for yourself what 20 Performing Arts Academy can do for your child!
